But I can tell you that if someone is buying a exhaust that is being called 3 inch and the part has a 2.5" piece inside of it, The part can at maximum only offer the flow of the 2.5" restriction it has at best. I can also tell you that changing pipe size to a smaller size without a proper cone causes crazy turbulence that will flow less then just keeping the pipe the same size all the way through. So my point is that offering the Sebring muffler that is currently available with the 3 inch inlet as a 3 inch exhaust is false advertising in my book and will offer less performance because of the turbulence.
